B. Cephalopoda
C. Polyplacophora

E. Bivalvia.

cephalopoda,its the only class that has well developed eyes and also tentacles.

I am staying in Mexico for 2 weeks and will be staying in a little town called Akumal between playa del carmen and tulum and would like to go to another cenote to snorkel,both we have been to were small but wonderful, I like the cave cenotes but which one would you reccomend for snorkeling and which one is the biggest?

Aktun Chen (see link below) is very popular. If you want to explore on your own, the manatee cenote is located at the Tankah Tres exit off of 307. Drive down the road, you will have to go through the security gate, and you will find the cenote right on the road directly across from Casa Cenote Restaurant. Go in the restaurant and enjoy a beverage and a bite and then walk over to the cenote. There is no parking and if you don’t spend any money at the restaurant, you will have to pay to park in their lot.

We did the cruise-fly option where you cruise to the pontoon and then take a helicopter over the reef and then back to Cairns. An absolutely awesome experience especially getting to play with Roxy, the Maori Wrasse.

I just went to cozumel and it was really windy to snorkel. What is the best time of the year to go? Any other places that are good in central america to go snorkeling? Windy conditions suck for snorkerling.

Just about any time that there isn’t a hurricane threatening (most probable months are August to October). But Cozumel only has a huricane every 2.8 years (see link below).

My husband and I are planning a trip to Puerto Rico over the holiday season. I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a luxury resort or condo (up to $500/night) that offers quality snorkeling right off the beach? I’m content to sit on the beach all day, but the hubby gets bored easily.

VIeques & Culebra are small islands off the coast of Puerto Rico with white sand & crystal clear water. They have great snorkeling & nearly secluded beaches to relax all day. You can check out Martineau Bay resort & spa in Vieques. Vieques also has a bioluminescent bay which glows in the dark. You can take a nighttime kayaking trip.

Also if you’d like to stay on the main island of Puerto Rico, where you can visit San Juan & have more to do, then try Fajardo. In Fajardo you can stay at El Conquistador resort. They own a small white sand island called Palomino. They take you over & you can relax on the beach. & there is great snorkeling here too. Also you will be close by El Yunque rain forest. This is a great day trip. & Luquillo & seven seas beach are nice also. There is a bioluminescent lagoon here too called Las Croaboas lagoon or La laguna grande. Whichever you decide., Enjoy!

My husband and I are going to Maui in September. It’s been years since I’ve been there…but the last time I was there, I went snorkeling with a company that only took out about 10 people in a small boat. I’m looking for something similar this time around. (Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of the company I went with last time.) Any suggestions?

You are not going to find a company that takes only 6-12 people at a time for snorkeling unless you rent a boat and captain for just your own family.

We are traveling to Nassau in May and would love a snorkeling adventure. The ones off the cruise tend to be expensive and the ones off the boat seem to be the same offered on the boat- any tips to a great and affordable trip off the boat?

Check out Snorkel Bahamas Adventure in Nassau. I believe the price is $45 a person for a morning or afternoon excursion (5 hours)

One good reason you should book ship excursion is if they are late the ship will wait for you. If you book on your own and your delayed, you have a problem. I just thought I would mention this.
