Best whale watching cruise company in Bay of Fundy?

We don’t know whether to plan our trip to include Digby, NS or St. Andrews, NB or another city out of which we can catch a whale watching tour. Which touring company has the best reputation for sighting whales?

I agree with the previous response of Pirates Cove on Brier Island (not fare from Digby) there is also http://www.fundytiderunners.com/
which a friend swears by but The idea of a noisy fast zodiac doesn’t seem to set the right scene

Jamie’s Whale Watching Tofino BC, Canada

Check out the website for more: http://www.jamies.com/?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=web&utm_campaign=video1

Jamie’s Whale Watching offers tours in Tofino and Ucluelet on state of the art zippy zodiac style vessels for those who crave adventure, or the west coast’s only large, luxury whale watch vessels, the 65 foot,’Leviathan II’ in Tofino or the ‘Lady Selkirk’ from Ucluelet, BC.

Most often viewed are the Pacific Gray Whales. The migration starts to show up along the coast of Vancouver Island in early February and continues through late April. From April on through November, we have our ‘Resident’ Gray whales feeding in Clayoquot Sound and Barkley Sound. Humpback whales are seen throughout our season, with the heaviest sightings in February, June, July, August and September. We see Orca whales (Killer whales) as well. There are 12 pods of ‘Transient’ Orcas that we see about once every two to three weeks throughout the year.

Where is the nearst place for whale watching from Toronto in the 1st week of June?

I plan to go to the east cost of Canada with family during 1st week fo June. Where is the best place for whale watching? And how to get detailed information about the tour and rate.

Tourism N.B and Tourism, N.S. as well as along the St.Lawrence in parts of Quebec all have web sites for a search. If you are planning a tour, in Riviere Du Luop the Trans-Canada splits, go through Rimouski to Mont Joli and come into New Brunswick on the ocean side and head for Nova Scotia or Bay of Fundy and on return trip take Trans Canada back to where it split . You see the Gulf of St.Lawrence and eventually P.E.I. Great scenic drive, water views, some mountains(easy drive), great fishing along highway. From where the highway splits ouside Riviere du Loup to Nova Scotia border is about 6 and a half hour drive on TCH, a shade over 7 hours along coast.

Are there any whale watching cruises in Japan or have the japanese killed all the whale?

I am planning a trip to japan in October, and I want to go on a whale watching cruise there. But I heard and saw the Japanese killed thousands of whales without reason and now plan to kill all the rest this year and next. They must not have whale watching then or do they? Thank you.

I was planning a trip to go Whale Watching?

I was planning a trip to Monterey bay or san fransisco in California?

I wanted to go Whale Watching but I was wondering if anyone knew specifically what time of year I should go to get some great Whale Showing!

This time of year, during the winter, is an excellent time to go whale watching. I’ve been on a whale watching tour in Monterey and was able to see some whales. You’ll mostly see gray whales this time of year. December-April is the best time for whale watching.

Are there any personal whale watching opportunities in New Zealand?

I don’t want to go in a large group of tourists. Does anyone know of any more personal small group whale watching tours? Less commercial? Although I am also not looking to lay down a lot of dough either. I know, picky right? Anyways, I appreciate your help. Oh, and the location doesn’t matter, I’m just planning a trip next year…

Kaikoura, is the main place for whale watching in NZ.
Apart from boats you can also take plane and helicopter rides, so that can be alot more personal.
