Living in Oahu (one of the Hawaiian Islands) are there bridges that connect Oahu to all the other islands?
Or do you have to fly to the other Hawaiian Islands?
Sounds like a stupid question, but I’ll be moving there soon and was wondering if there were bridges connecting to the other islands or not.
Ok, so if there are no bridges, how do you visit the other islands? You’d have to fly, right?
NOT a stupid question. I think it is a great question, I get what you mean, but No, there are no Bridges linking the Islands. Most people fly Inter-Island..I think a ticket to do that is about $100.00(at least it was last time I was there in May). Then there is The Hawaii Super-Ferry that runs twice a day between Maui and Oahu and I believe it is a 3 hour trek. So not to worry you will be able to get around! ~~Aloha~~E Komo Mai~~
nope no bridges the islands are further apart than you would think…

well you could swim to the other island (I think there is a ferry though_

No bridges. Gotta fly or float. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing in Hawaii!

Fly or Super Ferry… Fly though…it’s faster and only like $10 more. The ferry takes 3 hours from Oahu to Maui…..a plane takes 40 minutes.
Go! Airlines has some good fares….if you book them early enough…

No there is no bridges, they would not work with the distance & weather. The only way between the islands is by air (plane/helicopter)or by sea (boat/ferry).

your funny! bridges? ha ha ha!!! definitely no bridges. you’d have to fly which can be expensive now days or take the superferry which only goes to certain islands, but it’s much more affordable and you can take you car.
