If you are going to Honolulu go to the Polynesian Cultural Center it is a lot of fun and go to the luau at the end of the evening. I'm 18 too and I went there for spring break this year. I was against going to the Cultural Center but it was a lot of fun. Be sure to go snorkeling too. Whale watching was a lot of fun as well. Whale season starts in October of November I think. There is also a great snorkeling beach on Maui I'm not sure what it is but if you ask around I'm sure that you can find it. They make you watch a video that's about five minutes long before you can snorkel but we saw sea turtles while we were snorkeling. In Honolulu we stayed at the Marriott the beds were really comfortable and there were two pools. At your hotel they will help you find tours to sign up for there are a lot to choose from. I was only in Honolulu for three days then I went to Maui which is much more laid back, and there are not as many people. I suggest Honolulu because the cultural center and the snorkeling beach are great. I hope that helps
References :
My spring break vacation four months ago.
