move to the mainland, better opportunities, less crime, better education. Waianae coast is tough area, expand your horizons, get off the rock. Ali'i area, Nanakuli,etc... San Jose, very expensive place to live, better in LA area. i can garins youd be better off in the mainland. most people move to hawaii to get away from something, but you are young and you are the future....
References :
Have you talked with your folks about moving? That is a big, big decision & unless your family is enthusiastic about a move to the mainland, it it going to be pretty tough to sell the idea. Even though I want my kids to be happy, it would take a whole lot of talking for one of them to convince me to move to the mainland. I know it seems like a long way off, but maybe you would be better off waiting till college & then going off to the mainland for school. Work hard in school so you can earn a good scholarship!
References :
First of all, I'd just like to point out that it may not be paradise compared to Waikiki, but compared to places like Dayton (which has the second highest crime rate in the country) or somewhere on the mainland where people are getting shot at every other day and drive-by's are more common than rain, I'd say it's pretty damn good.

With that out of the way, why do you all have to move? Why not just find a nice private school on the mainland where you can room for the semester and come back during breaks? It won't uproot your whole family from their home, but will still allow you to see other places. If you can't afford it, you'll just have to wait until college. There are a bunch of private high schoools that give scholarships, so if you're part Hawaiian, talk to Alu Like about your options, or your school counselor about transfering.
