New poem, read and review, my life?

It’s the sound of the lion, purring in the grass,
Orange mane frays out, shades of stained glass.
It’s the smell of the lilies, new in the field,
Or the Lysol cringe with the hand you’ve been dealed.
It’s glimpsing the fin in the back of the sea,
The knowledge that something, somewhere is free.
The frozen brick, on a winter school day,
Melting on the sidewalk, turning manila to grey.
Taste of the air, breezy and cold,
Whispering quiet, words of gold.
The rustle of leaves in the park with a kite,
A tap on the window in the middle of the night.
Cool sea air, wind in the sail,
My life, in a smaller scale.

sweet..maybe later we can ride magic ponies and make necklaces of flowers to share with our friends

::BLEH:::

that was me throwing up on your poem.

She walked down the street, alone. She tried to keep her feet from falling. She let the rain take her away, even if she had a hood on. She found her home, in a park no one knew of. She sat down next to a tree, on the wet grass. She looked back at the sun, & said; "Why do they love me?".

We’re all lonely for something we don’t know we’re lonely for. How else to explain the curious feeling that goes around feeling like missing somebody we’ve never even met? "

There’s a story in your eyes, I can see the hurt behind your smile, For every sign I recognize, Another one escapes me is Away .

WOW – not just saying this to impress you – but what a great poem – like a good book or movie, when I am reading or watching I love it when I become part of the story, living and feeling the surroundings as if I were truly there. Normally, it takes a few pages in a book or minutes of a movie — but I was drawn in when I could visualize the lion purring in the grass with his orange mane mimicking the beauty of stained glass … I could go on, but I’ll leave it at I enjoyed experiencing your work and talent !!
