Although New Providence is the most densely populated and visited dive island in the Bahamas, its surrounding reefs are some of the most pristine. Snorkel across the break zone of its Southwest Reef and see what we mean. The waters are clear and the corals are healthy vibrant. It’s a fantasy land of life and color.

NOAA and several partners in Hawaii announced a comprehensive long-term plan to actively assess and remove plastics, derelict fishing gear, and other human sources of marine debris from coastal waters and coral reefs along the island chain. The plan, a first of its kind for the nation, will be instrumental in protecting the states coastal communities and marine life from the thousands of pounds of marine debris that wash ashore each year.

We moved away from everyone/thing we knew and want to share our lives and what we see with family and friends. We made the long move from Austin TX to Kailua-Kona HI. This video is our first week in town.
