Tsunami Warning Big Island February 27 2010
I just added another link right under this description to NOAA’s page where you will find information about the dynamics of a tsunami…Please continue to keep everyone in Chile and Hawaii (and anywhere else in the world experiencing tragedy) in prayer. I am certain we are going to continue to see an increase in these events. If you already know the LORD please try to share your faith at every opportunity and if you don’t know Him yet, please call out to Him while He can be called on, we all have an appointed day to depart. We don’t know when that will be, call on HIM (Isaiah 55:6, Deuteronomy 4:29, Hebrews 9:27).
This video is of our attempt to see any changes in our coast line from 5000ft up on side of volcano on February 27th, 2010…
The VOG was actually too thick between us and the coast line for us to see anything.
So I have attached a couple of links to learn about VOG here also:

Northwestern Hawaiian Islands 2003: Monk Seal at 1781 feet
Scientists completed a 64-day cruise to the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, onboard the University of Hawaii’s Research Vessel, Ka’imikai-o-Kanaloa, and the Pisces IV and V Submersibles. They studied the regions virtually unexplored deep-sea corals, submarine canyons, and seamounts. One objective was to learn how endangered Hawaiian monk seals use shallow and deep-water habitats for hunting and protection. When scientists dove to a deep-sea coral bed, they were shocked to see an endangered Hawaiian monk seal at an amazing depth of 543 meters (1781 feet).
It’s the first time a monk seal was documented as associated with deep-sea precious corals, and the first time a monk seal was observed at such a depth, where he showed no sign of stress. Please visit source: http://oceanexplorer.noaa.gov/explorations/03nwhi/media/monkseal_video.html

Hawai’i, Episode 1: 1st week in Hawai’i
We moved away from everyone/thing we knew and want to share our lives and what we see with family and friends. We made the long move from Austin TX to Kailua-Kona HI. This video is our first week in town.
NOTE: music removed by youtube and they have removed the option to mute the video, instead they force you to choose something from their very sad music library. music used to be Regina Spektor-Us. Also, the tour at the end can not be heard due to the replaced audio track. sorry for the change in video. this mainly sucks because now this video with the horrible audio swap track is the only existing version of episode 1, thanks youtube you jerks!
