Thar She Blows!! Whale Watching in Long Beach

My best friend Meryl and I on our first ever whale watching adventure tour in Long Beach, California. We were fortunate enough to spot two gray whales, a mother and her calf, making their way back to the waters of Alaska for some yummy food. One less thing on the bucket list :] I recommend going on a whale watching tour for sure!! Hawaii Vacation Pride of America Cruise NCL

We took Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL) Pride of America ship around the Hawaiian Islands May 16-23, 2009. What an amazing trip! This very short video shows a recap of this one week adventure in a tropical paradise.

Starting in Honolulu, we travel to Maui, Hilo and Kona on the big island, Kauai and back to Honolulu. From ziplining in the mountains, snorkeling in a coral reef, watching steam from the top of volcanoes, seeing lava flow into the ocean, fire dancing at a luau and passing the Na Pali coast, this is the trip of a lifetime.

As if the sights were not enough, the entire crew at NCL and the tour operators at every port have a tremendous spirit of service and aloha. They truly make you feel like family and go out of their way to serve above and beyond expectations.

We moved away from everyone/thing we knew and want to share our lives and what we see with family and friends. We made the long move from Austin TX to Kailua-Kona HI. This video is our first week in town.

NOTE: music removed by youtube and they have removed the option to mute the video, instead they force you to choose something from their very sad music library. music used to be Regina Spektor-Us. Also, the tour at the end can not be heard due to the replaced audio track. sorry for the change in video. this mainly sucks because now this video with the horrible audio swap track is the only existing version of episode 1, thanks youtube you jerks!
